In 2017 Green Pest took all of the sales representatives on a 7 day Royal Caribbean cruise. The stops included Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and St. Thomas.

Job Title: Sales Representative

Company Introduction:   Green Pest Management (GPM) is a fast growing, team oriented, Pest Control Service company based in Northern Delaware and Philadelphia, PA region.  The company was founded nearly 10 years ago and is preparing for a big growth push in the next few years to expand into new locations.   In preparation for this growth, GPM is now currently looking for motivated, committed, coachable, and passionate individuals to help lead their Door To Door Sales Program for the Spring and Summer of 2023.  

Selling pest control door to door is not easy but it is one of the most rewarding sales opportunities for seasonal summer work that exists today and is an incredible opportunity to jump start future earning potential and unlock valuable workplace skill sets. 

Job Description: This role is a seasonal position that begins approximately May 1st and runs through approximately September 1st, 2023.  GPM are looking for motivated, ambitious individuals that sell our pest control service in suburban communities throughout the spring and summer.   All team members undergo a training program to learn the sales process and refine key communication and selling skills to be successful and productive and to get off to a running start as quickly as possible.

Some qualified candidates may be invited to apply for the role of ‘Sales Captain’ with the organization.  In addition to the responsibilities listed above, this role will offer opportunities to earn additional incentives for recruiting interested candidates from your local community for our summer sales program.  First year applicants are able to qualify for this program.  

Key candidates should possess:

  • Physical ability to move around in neighborhoods and be on your feet for 8+ hours a day
  • Emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills to be able to talk to different people constantly
  • A passion to achieve success in challenging environments
  • Coachable attitude that enjoys learning new skills and competencies
  • Drive to push through rejection and difficult interactions
  • Willingness to learn and develop the process
  • Enjoyment in working with various people in a team culture and environment
  • A sense of accomplishment in setting and achieving goals
  • Some background in sales or door to door sales experience preferred, but not required
  • High-school (or equivalent) and some College preferred, but not required

 Compensation:  

  • Commission splits on every sale that grow as you sell more

Job Description: This role is a seasonal role that begins approximately May 1st and runs through approximately September 1st, 2023.  GPM are looking for motivated, ambitious individuals that sell our pest control service in suburban communities throughout the spring and summer.   All team members undergo a training program to learn the sales process and refine key communication and selling skills to be successful and productive and to get off to a running start as quickly as possible.  The Sales Representative Captain will also be responsible for identifying and recruiting team members to join their squad.  In addition to selling once the season starts, prior to the season the sales captain will introduce, promote, and sell the opportunity to peers, students, and others looking for a sales opportunity in D2D pest control.  They will coordinate meeting opportunities with prospective candidates and be the face for recruiting locally for the program.  The sales captain will not be responsible for training once the season starts.  

Sales Captains should possess:

  • Openness to approach individuals about the role in their local networks and schools
  • Ability to communicate the opportunity and relay this not a MLM gig
  • Excitement about building a team and producing results
  • Transparency in communication regarding progress and candidate standing

Sales candidates should possess:

 Qualified candidates should possess:

  • A proven track record over at least 2 years of sales in door to door Pest Control
  • A willingness to coach and train to develop young sales team members
  • Emotional intelligence to manage and sell at the same time
  • Leadership and public speaking proficiencies to lead team meetings and discuss performance
  • An ability to read people in a leadership capacity and help them develop their skill sets in the D2D space

Compensation:  

  • Max starting commission split
  • $5000 signing bonus
  • Compensation tied to team performance (over-rides and bonuses)
